Shipping Policy

Welcome to Magic Crate Reused Fabrics! I do everything I can to get your treasures to you as quickly and safely as possible. Because I run my studio completely on my own and hand-pack every garment for you, you’ll find all details regarding shipping rates and delivery times below.

 

Because my shop features unique items, delivery times vary per product category:

Magic Crates & Ready-to-Wear Items: Orders placed on business days are dispatched within 1 to 3 business days.

  • Custom Design & Stage Wear (Maatwerk): Since these pieces are custom handmade specifically for you, we will always agree upon a timeline together during the design process.

As soon as your parcel is on its way, you will receive an email with a Track & Trace code so you can follow your treasure's journey.

Shipping Destinations & Rates

 

I ship packages within Belgium via bpost, and to the Netherlands via PostNL.

Belgium (via bpost):

  • Standard (Pick-up Point):

    • 0–2 kg: €5.40

    • 2–5 kg: €5.60

    • 5–10 kg: €6.00

  • Comfort (Home Delivery):

    • 0–2 kg: €7.10​

    • 2–5 kg: €7.85

    • 5–10 kg: €8.65

The Netherlands (via PostNL - up to 23 kg):

  • Standard: €8.50

  • Comfort: €8.75

Currently, standard shipping is only available within Belgium (and the Netherlands). Do you live abroad and would you love to place an order? Please reach out via magiccrate@hotmail.com or the contact form. I'll gladly check the custom shipping options and rates for you!

Exclusive Garments:

For high-value or delicate, one-of-a-kind pieces, we can arrange insured shipping or a personal handover by mutual agreement.

 

Issues with Your Delivery?

Did pirates intercept your parcel, or did your package arrive damaged? Don't panic! Contact me within 48 hours of the (scheduled) delivery at magiccrate@hotmail.com, and I'll sort it out for you right away.

Returns & Exchanges

I hope you fall head over heels in love with your unique treasure from Magic Crate Reused Fabrics! Because my items are crafted from forgotten textiles, deadstock fabrics, and vintage gems, every piece carries its own character and story. Is an item not quite what you expected? No problem. Below you will find exactly how returning or exchanging works.

For unique pieces purchased directly from the web shop, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receipt without providing a reason. After cancellation, you have another 14 days to return the product to me.

Important: You are welcome to inspect the item, but it must be returned in its original state and (if reasonably possible) in its original packaging.

Exceptions (costum made)

Products that I custom-make or personalize specifically for you (such as exclusive stage and event wear) are tailored entirely to your personal wishes and measurements. Legally, these unique custom items are exempt from the right of withdrawal and cannot be returned or exchanged.

Should something not fit as expected or meet your wishes, please contact me directly so we can look at options for adjustments together!

 

How to Return an Item

  • Notify: Register your return within 14 days of receipt by sending an email to magiccrate@hotmail.com with your order number.

  • Pack: Carefully pack the item (preferably in its original shipping box).

  • Ship: Drop the package off at a local postal service point. Return shipping costs are your responsibility.

  • Keep Proof: Keep your proof of postage (with Track & Trace code) safe until your return has been fully processed.

     

Refunds

As soon as I receive the package in good condition, I will inspect the state of the product. If everything is in order, I will refund the full purchase amount (including any original standard shipping costs) within 14 days via the payment method used for the purchase.

Payment Policy

Payment and Payment Terms

  • In the Web Shop: Orders placed through the web shop are paid online immediately. As soon as I receive your payment, I get to work with lots of love to craft, pack, and send your order.

  • By Invoice: If you opt to pay via invoice, I kindly ask you to transfer the total amount within 14 calendar days of the invoice date, unless we have agreed on something else together.

  • How to Pay: You can pay easily using the payment options on my website or by transferring the amount directly to my bank account. Please always include the invoice number as a reference so I can match your payment quickly.

What Happens If a Payment Is Late?

  • For Individual Customers (B2C): If you forget to pay an invoice, I will always send you a friendly and free reminder first. You will then have an additional 14 calendar days to settle the payment. Should the payment still remain outstanding after that period, I am required by Belgian law to charge statutory interest and late fees.

  • For Business Clients (B2B): If a business client does not pay before the due date, statutory interest and a fixed compensation fee of 10% of the invoice total (with a minimum of €40) will automatically be charged without prior notice, in addition to any potential debt collection costs.
